Would you like to filter your dirty electricity without needing to wire a whole-house filter into the circuit panel? For homes or businesses with 240-volt electricity, the Satic corded plug-in is the near-equivalent of the Standard Power Perfect whole-house dirty electricity filter. While it’s always better to filter directly at the circuit panel (a.k.a., switchboard, breaker box, meter box, fuse box, consumer unit) if you can, this filter can simply be plugged in to the outlet nearest your breaker box and will give very robust filtering. Depending on the size of your home, a single one of these units can filter the entire home. Larger homes need two or occasionally three. Please contact me for more information.

 

If you have 3-phase electricity, you will need one corded plug-in for each phase (in other words, 3 corded plug-ins).

 

Note that the Standard Power Perfect and the Super Duty whole-house filters have both surge protection and EMP (electromagnetic pulse) protection. With the Satic corded plug-in, you don’t get surge protection at your circuit panel, although you do get it at the circuit the filter is plugged into. Only whole-house filters have EMP protection.

 

Alternatively, use the 240-volt International Plug-in Filters, which will allow you to also filter out dirty electricity created on a particular circuit. Each filter requires an adapter, which is typically supplied with the filter.

Choose your plug type from the dropdown menu below.

  • If you are in Austrialia or New Zealand, choose the AU/NZ plug (Type I outlet).
  • If you are in the U.K., choose the U.K. plug (Type G outlet).
  • If you are in a country that uses 120-volt electricity, choose the U.S. plug (Type B outlet).
  • If you are in any other country that uses 240-volt electricity, choose between the UK and the AU/NZ plug, and then buy an adapter to fit it to your country’s outlets. Note that the U.S. filter is not suitable for 240-volt electricity.
  • Please confirm with your electric company as to whether you have 240-volt or 120-volt power. There are a few countries in which some residences have 240-volt power but others have 120-volt.

A list is provided below of countries that use plug types I, B, and G. Note that it is your responsiblity to confirm that you have 240-volt power. There are some countries that have both 240-volt and 120-volt. Please call your electric company if you are unsure.

Countries that use the Australia / New Zealand Type I plug include Argentina, Uruguay, China, American Samoa, Christmas Islands, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.

Countries that use the U.S. Type B plug include Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, American Samoa, Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Liberia, Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Micronesia, Midway Islands, Montserrat, Nicaragua, Palau, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands, US Virgin Islands, Venezuela, Wake Island.

Countries that use the U.K. Type G plug include Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, Belize, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Grenada, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
