Description
Satic Field Shield
Protects you from radiofrequency and electrical fields. RF and electrical fields are two types of EMFs (electromagnetic fields).
Take a look at the graphic below to see the reduction Field Shield gives. Oneida Hospital in Montana shielded a room with Satic’s Field Shield. The yellow and orange bars are the ones you are interested in here. On the left, you see the “control,” which here means the room before it was shielded. The second (middle) image shows you how much the numbers have dropped just by shielding the walls of the room. The third image (right) shows you the numbers when the walls and the floor were shielded. Look at how low those numbers are compared to the room before it was shielded!
Field Shield consists of 8 layers, carefully tested and selected to provide attenuation of radiofrequency and electrical fields:
- Aluminum (a conductor)
- Closed-cell polyethylene foam (a resistor)
- Aluminum (a conductor)
- A proprietary invisi-shield reflective blend of titanium dioxide, zinc, silver and ceramic
- YShield EMR Protection HSF54 paint (carbon based)
- Aluminum (a conductor)
- Closed-cell polyethylene foam (a resistor)
- Aluminum (a conductor)
All layers bonded with ceramic adhesive.
A metal grommet creates electrical continuity between all 8 layers, and to it attaches a cord for grounding. The six-foot-long grounding cord connects to the screw on any outlet plate (place where you plug in your lamps, etc.).
Field Shield is made by Satic, also known as SaticShield. Sometimes people mistakenly add a “t” to the company name and call it “Static” or “StaticShield.”
